Location & Labs

Lorraine University is a state university which was created January 1st 2012 by the fusion of four esteemed historical universities in the cities of Nancy and Metz. The university has almost 7000 employees, encompassing 3722 professors and educating 52 thousand students.

SynAging's laboratories are located in the Polytechnic National Institute of Lorraine on the campus Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy on the hills over the city of Nancy, close to  Brabois University Hospital.

How to find us by car:
From highway A33/E23 use exit 2b into direction Vandoevre CHU Brabois. Drive straight on until you hit the first roundabout and take the street to the left (Av. Forêt de Haye). Immediately take the first right exit onto the university campus (gated entrance, across on the left, some hotels) and turn again right within the campus. Now drive on until you arrive at the end of the road on a big parking lot. Please park here and call us to collect you from the rightmost gate of the geology building.

How to find us by public transport:
Please use Tram 1 from Nancy main train station to Brabois and exit at Forêt de Haye (approximately 15 min). Turn right into Av. Forêt de Haye and enter the campus on the right. Walk the rightmost street until it ends on a big parking lot. Please call us to collect you from the rightmost gate of the geology building in front of the parking lot.

 

Nancy is located in the north-eastern French department of Meurthe-et-Moselle. The city is the capital of the department. The metropolitan area of Nancy has a population of 410 thousand inhabitants.
